Oleksandr Usyk conquers the heavyweight world: he holds the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO titles.
On December 22, 2024, Oleksandr Usyk made history once again. The exceptional Ukrainian athlete defeated British boxer Tyson Fury in the main event of a spectacular boxing evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After 12 hard-fought rounds, Usyk was unanimously declared the winner by the judges, securing the WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBO heavyweight world titles.
A battle of superlatives
Usyk demonstrated from the outset why he is considered one of the best boxers of his generation. With his superior technique, speed, and strategic superiority, he dominated the ring. Tyson Fury, known for his unorthodox attacks and physical strength, found no answer to Usyk's precision.
